Golf Course Cook

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

OGV Taproom are looking to recruit two Cooks to join our team at our new OGV Taproom Newburgh on Ythan location. Working between 25-35 hours per week, this would suit a cook looking for flexible working pattern to include mornings, weekends, and daytime shifts plus occasional evenings.

**ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES**

You will prepare, cook and present the day-to-day golf club menu as per guidelines set by the Head Chef. You will also assist the Head Chef as required for ad-hoc, larger functions including (but not limited to) birthday celebrations, golf days, functions, parties, tribute nights etc.

You must:

- Able to work on own initiative
- Able to work as part of a team
- Have excellent communication and customer service skills
- Able to operate all and various appliances
- Have excellent housekeeping and cleanliness standards
- Able to complete essential paperwork daily
- Maintain clean food preparation areas in line with current legislation
- Manage stock (i.e., report shortages/spillages/waste to Head Chef)

**QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED**

Basic Hygiene Certificate (ideally) or

Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (preferred - training is offered with the position)

**Salary**: £10.00-£11.50 per hour
