Business Development Manager - Telecoms
My client has had phenomenal success within the telecoms sector over the last 10 years. Due to their ongoing expansion, they are looking for a Business Development Manager to join their successful team in Hammersmith, London. Salary, £37k-43k + £70k OTE (uncappedcommission).

As a Business Development Manager you will engage with freeholder local authority accounts and sites. You will engage directly and with property stakeholders to agree the installation of networks and identify new business development opportunities. This rolehas great career progression if you are ambitious and hungry for success.
What will the role look like?
- Work with a set of allocated local authority accounts.
- Identifying target sites and engaging directly with Property Stakeholders and Owners, Building Managers as well as residents of multi dwelling properties.
- Proactively building and managing your pipeline; targeting new clients and protecting and growing existing ones.
- Identifying decision makers and engaging directly with relevant stakeholders within the local authority sector utilising customer profiling.
- Identifying additional target authorities to continuously grow your pipeline.
- Lead generation, relationship development & consortia building and management of them.
- Communicating with Caretakers, Concierges, Property Manager, residents' associations, residents & freeholder, C-level
- Providing regular reporting on progress to management as required. Responsible for managing workflow and projects through the CRM.
- Establish and build good working relationships with internal stakeholders to aid successful deployment of sites.
- Coordinating functions to ensure single client facing interface (where necessary and desirable).
- Influence resource coordination to ensure delivery.
- Carry out strategic account management and planning.
- Engaging with C-Level executives to sell the products and build value propositions.
- Possess a strong understanding of the product, the competition in the industry and positioning.
You need to have.
- A strong background and experience in business development/sales
- knowledge and experience of freehold or leasehold property
- knowledge of vertical markets/sectors
- Ideally some experience in the telecommunications sector (desirable)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience of working with senior level colleagues and customers
- Advanced knowledge and experience of the sales process and being able to work with tight deadlines and targets
