Female Support Worker (2 BANK positions)
Required to work with a 20 year old girl with a physical and learning disability / cerebral palsy. She lives with her parents in an adapted property in Saltford.
She attends residential college during term time and enjoys being at home during the college holidays. She enjoys socialising with family members, watching TV and using her hydro pool at home. She has a friendly personality and communicates using facial expressions and augmentative communication aids.
Your role will involve personal & domestic care, physiotherapy, social & leisure outings, enabling her to be an independent individual.
Previous experience is essential.
Full driving licence and own car is preferred as the young lady enjoys socialising and community visits. The role will also include reading to her as this is an activity that she enjoys.
£15.00 per hour weekdays / £15.00 per hour weekends
Sleep shifts £11.00 per hour
Bank worker shifts to cover 4 days per week to include day shifts of 6am -10pm and a sleeping shift of 10pm - 6am
Cover will be during college holidays only.
This position requires a fully enhanced disclosure request from the DBS.
You will also be required to register with the DBS Update Service.
