You will work as part of the Facilities team, to carry out a range of duties
associated with the provision of cleaning, food service and other patient support activities.

You'll be an integral part of our service delivery, carrying out facilities tasks and ensuring that cleaning standards are achieved and maintained.

You'll work as part of a team to deliver a quality service as directed by policies and procedures which are monitored by Supervisory staff.

You'll get to work across all areas of the Healthcare premises
between patient, clinical and non clinical areas.

Facilities Services aims to achieve delivery of a quality service across a range of duties. The service is responsible for the provision of cleaning, food service and other patient support activities.
- Provide a cleaning service and ensure areas are clean at all times

in accordance with the departmental cleaning schedule
- Ensure Infection control standards are adhered to and correctly recorded.
- Ensure correct waste segregation and disposal procedures in accordance

with Trust policy.
- Basic food preparation adhering to Food Hygiene Legislation, hospital policies and procedures.
- To provide patients with their menu choice of food and have fresh water at

their bedside and are served hot/cold beverages.
- Ensure the vending machines are full.
- Distribute and collect linen to and from wards and departments and other

associated laundry duties where required.
- Waste disposal.
- Movement of goods and equipment, medical records, specimens and linens
