**Line/Machine Operative - FMCG/ Food Manufacture**

Reporting to: Shift Production Supervisor

**Line/Machine Operatives** are part of a multi-tasked team responsible for various aspects of the production line process based on the daily needs of the business, specific to **frozen food production**.
- Part of a team **responsible for the effective operation of the processes and procedures** following the relevant work instructions.
- **Packing **products on production line.
- **Preparation and processing** of materials.
- **Operation of machinery**.
- Materials handling within a cold freezer environment.
- Maintaining the standard of **personal and factory hygiene**.

**Personal Qualities and Requirements**:

- **Previous experience** of operating production machinery or Line operation.
- Food Hygiene.
- **Good level **of written and spoken English.
- Enthusiastic, **keen to learn** with a strong work ethic.
- Physically fit for this **demanding role**, including heavy lifting in a fast-paced cold environment.
- **Requires the ability to stand** for the duration of the shift.
- Able to get **to and from site **to meet all start and finish times.

**Hours**:
We operate rotational day and backshift hours of 0600-1400 and 1400-2200, Monday to Friday.
