**Overview of the role**:
**Hours and location: 40 hours per week, Mondays to Fridays.**

**The role will be based at Donald Ward House, Ilkeston.**

**Key Responsibilities**:
You will be carrying out daily administrative tasks to support the accounts’ function. This may include the following duties:

- Processing supplier invoices
- Raising supplier payments
- Processing expense claims
- Processing Fixed Asset invoices
- Account reconciliations and contra’s
- Ensuring that deadlines are met for month end accounts
- Resolving queries in a polite and professional manner
- Managing and updating spreadsheets in excel
- Assisting with filing and other admin duties as required

**Skills and Knowledge Required**:
WARD are looking for somebody with a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a purchase ledger environment.
- Excellent telephone manner, with great people skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and excel
- Knowledge of how to overcome objections
- Excellent eye for detail
- Ability to work within a team and independently
