Live-in Handyman

**Kent / East Sussex Borders**, **Salary £40,000 gross per annum**:

The owners and other staff speak Russian, so knowledge of Russian language would be an advantage.

The position is a live-in one and a separate accommodation is available.

**The Handyman’s duties will include**:

- Overseeing household maintenance, general condition, and operations works
- Overseeing maintenance and timely servicing of systems and equipment
- Taking care of the estate territory, buildings, tools, and machinery
- Doing basic gardening, repairs, and refurbishment works
- Working in collaboration with household staff (housekeepers, cleaners, gardeners, security staff)
- Caring and arranging care for household pets
- Ensuring the household is fully stocked at all times and shopping for all required household items
- Running household errands
- Arranging maintenance and servicing of estate car
- Other ad hoc duties as directed

**Property**:
10,000 sq ft country house with a swimming pool, staff quarters, separate estate office, garages and auxilliary buildings on 30 acres of private land located near Wadhurst, East Sussex.

**Requirements**:

- At least 3 years of handyman experience in a private household
- Excellent checkable references
- Driving licence
- UK working permit

**Salary**: £40,000 per year gross
