We are a busy coffee shop close to Freshfield Station in Formby. Due to maternity leave, we are now looking for a cook to work Fridays and Saturdays.

Our menu is a mixture of breakfast and brunch items including smashed avocado, French toast, eggs benedict, toasties and full English breakfasts. We are extremely focused on presentation of dishes.

Our opening hours are 10-3 on week days (food is stopped at 2) and open at 9:30 start on weekends. You will need to be in 1 hour before we open in order to prep.

There will be 2 staff members in the kitchen on Saturdays.

Your duties will include:

- Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
- Prepare ingredients to use in cooking
- Cook food in various utensils or grillers
- Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
- Keep a sanitised and orderly environment in the kitchen
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
- Check quality of ingredients
- Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages#

We offer all staff a free meal every time they are on shift and it's a very friendly atmosphere with a great customer base.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.50-£12.00 per hour
