**About the role**

By working to train and develop our supply chain colleagues, you will be helping the teams deliver excellent availability for our customers and cost savings to the business. From the fast, reactive world of fresh food supply planners right through to training demand planning in GM, there are many areas of training opportunity. Joining our training skills centre is the chance to influence how teams do their job and see your results come to life each time you step into a store.

**What you will be responsible for**:

- **Support the delivery of training**:

- **Coordinate the overall critical path for recruitment and training**:

- **Organise and support the delivery of flexible training plans for each new colleague, as well as training plans for upskilling existing colleagues on new initiatives**:

- **Prepare trainees for milestone assessments to ensure they are on track based on their experience, skills and knowledge**:

- **Input to an improvement cycle for training courses and maintain a suite of reference materials**:

- **Liaise with other teams to make sure colleagues receive valued tuition on particular expertise**:

- **Liaise with other teams to identify knowledge gaps**

**About you**

With previous experience in ASDA, training or supply chain, you will be motivated by a role that challenges you on a daily basis, tests your agility and satisfies your desire to achieve results. You will relish being part of a passionate, energetic team which thrives under pressure as you work together to provide creative solutions; all with the customer in mind.
- You'll be highly organized and demonstrate good planning
- You'll have a good understanding of ASDA supply systems.
- You'll have a strong ability to coach colleagues
- You'll have excellent PC skills, to include strong Office Skills - e.g. Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Excel and Word with knowledge of digital training packages being an advantage
- You'll have strong communication skills with the ability to develop collaborative relationships
- You'll have a keen eye for detail and the ability to prioritize effectively
- You'll be a team player with a natural ability to seek solutions and solve problems,
- Your attitude to achieve and learn in a changing environment will be vital.
