An exciting opportunity has become available to work for one of our most reputable clients (Greggs) during the busy period based in the heart of Penrith.

**Working hours**: Monday to Friday. Start times can vary between 6am to 7:30am. Finish times can also vary.

**Start date**: IMMEDIATE START

**Pay rate**: £10.12 (possible overtime available on Saturdays).

Your day to day duties as a bakery operative will include:

- Supporting the making of all products in the bakery, which can include cookies, shortbread, brownies and other seasonal products.
- Carrying out and following strict hygiene procedures.
- Work as a team to ensure high quality products are made ready for distribution to local Greggs stores.
- Work with the team and your supervisor to meet all targets and deadlines for the day/week.

In the factory at Greggs Food hygiene is very important due to working with food. As a result of this when working in the factory all workers will be required to wear hair nets, jackets etc. to ensure there is nothing being contaminated in the food within the factory. **All necessary PPE will be provided.**

Applicants would be required to complete a Food Hygiene induction with ourselves in branch.

**Benefits & Requirements**:

- Hourly rate as above (not age dependent)
- 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
