Core requirements:

- Experienced in the use of robotic systems.
- A good practical understanding of marine electronics and component integration.
- Able to solve complex problems quickly in a highly pressurised environment.
- Work with teams within PML and collaborate with external companies to integrate and prototype technologies using the Smart Sound platforms.
- Ability to work at sea.

Desirable skills:

- Computer coding skills.
- Familiarity with ARM (solid state PC) technology e.g. Raspberry Pi.
- Advanced communication systems and computer networking
- Knowledge of scientific payloads and optimised deployment protocols
- Vessel skippers’ tickets such as RYA Advanced Powerboater

**Salary**: £35,000.00-£42,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Plymouth
