The Job

The Company

We have been asked by a very established Mechanical and Electrical Building services installer to locate a mechanical HVAC estimator with good interpersonal skills who works well as part of a team.
Our Client is an International, independently owned and managed technical services provider that operates through The UK and Ireland. Their team of 2000 employees provide mechanical and electrical solutions in many construction sectors and deliver high quality technical solutions.

The Role

As an estimator with demonstrable knowledge you will be able to communicate at all levels and have the ability to learn and adapt very quickly.
You will be liaising with consultants and clients and taking an open book approach to work winning, done through the traditional approach of tendering, i.e. Take off's, obtaining & vetting supplier & sub-contractor quotations, then bringing the client on board to observe that the best price and best practices are being used. Tendering works up to £5Million services value.
You will thrive on challenge and be a great problem solver. Able to work autonomously or as part of a team, leading and motivating where required.

Qualifications & Experience

Computer literate in a variety of packages including the Estimation & the Microsoft Office suite. You will be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of Mechanical (HVAC) and plumbing building services across construction sectors including Education, Healthcare, Commercial and Residential.
