Quality Technican

**Monday to Friday 8am -5pm on a 40 hour week There is overtime available

**Salary:
**£21,000 - £23000 a year with overtime at x1.33 for weekdays and x1.5 for weekends.
- Your main work areas will be the blending and packaging areas of the factory. You will report directly to the Production Supervisor/Manager, or in his absence to any supervisor/manager. _
- Your duties will include, but not be limited to: _
- 1. Follow Company aims and assist in fulfilling Company vision. _
- 2. Time management to meet work demands. _
- 3. Planning and organization of Colour Production schedule to meet delivery and production targets. _
- 4. Ensuring cost effectiveness at all times. _
- 5. If required, conduct weekly fire alarm tests and monthly emergency light tests if required. _
- 6. Labelling and packaging all colour goods accurately. _
- 7. Colour production quality control. _
- 8. Upholding health and safety guidelines. _
- 10. Non-hazardous and hazardous chemical handling and be fully aware of guidelines associated with chemical handling (CoSHH). _
- 11. Equipment maintenance, including colour blenders, laboratory equipment and any other machinery/equipment relevant to colour material production. _
- 13. Use and update electronic colour production records (SAP). _
- 17. Follow instructions accurately and quickly. _
- 18. Maintain records as required by the company Quality Manuals. _
- 19. Use of large weighing equipment, pallet truck and other pieces of machinery/equipment when necessary. _

From time to time, when it is considered necessary or appropriate by management you may be required to carry out any other duties considered within your skill and competence to assist the smooth running of the business.

You will be expected to present yourself in a smart and neat manner at all times while on site. All staff are expected to wear clothes which are appropriate for an office / manufacturing workplace environment. The Company places paramount importance on healthand safety and welfare of employees at work. Every employee is further required to take such steps as are reasonably practicable to ensure the health and safety of him/herself and others affected by his/her work. You must make use of all protective clothingand equipment that are provided for you and co-operate with the management in all respects for the full implementation of the Health and Safety Policy.

You will need to be a good team worker, have flexibility and follow instructions quickly and accurately. You will be required to have an excellent attitude towards time keeping and be expected to be ready to start work at the commencement of your normalworking day.
