**We have a vacancy for an enthusiastic and flexible person to join our Premises team.**

You will be responsible for a wide range of duties and responsibilities connected with the buildings, fabric and grounds of the school, and reports to the Premises Manager as detailed below.
- To assist the Premises Manager with the maintenance, upkeep and refurbishment of the estate, premises and contents of the School as required
- To assist with and record the daily morning safety checks of the premises.
- Carry out proactive and reactive remedial works covering all aspects of building maintenance
- To assist and carry out works within the planned maintenance schedule as required
- To assist with the routine maintenance, compliance testing and complete records for equipment provided for safety, firefighting and safe evacuation
- Liaise with the Premises Manager to ensure that tools and equipment are suitable, sufficient and fit for purpose
- Assist with the removal and safe management of all waste and comply with any recycling and environmental initiatives introduced by the School
- Be responsible for the school grounds to include gardening work such as mowing, weeding, pruning, planting, sweeping and jet washing
- Maintain a smart appearance at all times wearing facilities clothing provided and act as an ambassador for the Maintenance team
- To carry out all duties with the guidelines of the Schools Health and Safety Policy
- To comply with risk assessments for all significant risk associated with the activities of the position and the School

A degree of flexibility will be required for after school events and activities

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
