We are pleased to be working with one of Edinburgh's premier transport companies. As the business continues to grow a rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to take on the role as working Foreman to head their busyworkshop. They work with a variety of corporate and leisure clients across the UK, Ireland from around the world.

**Responsibilities**:

- Undertaking vehicle maintenance, servicing, and running repairs on a varied fleet (including M.O.T preparation).
- Prompt repair of all defective vehicles to the highest standard.
- Ensure vehicles are maintained in accordance with the Company Operators Licence guidelines.
- Ensure all repairs to company vehicles are carried out in a timely manner.
- Have an ability to work to the highest Health & Safety standards.
- Preparation and presentation of vehicles for VOSA tests.
- Preventative maintenance.
- Fault diagnostics.
- All associated paperwork, reports, and admin.

**Requirements**:

- Be time served and experienced in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics.
- PCV licence preferred but not necessary.
- Have proven diagnostic skills and electrical experience.
- Be confident working on your own; however, you should also be adaptable to change and, work well within a team.
