**About the role**:
The Sensory Smart Child is a unique children's therapy clinic, offering Multidisciplinary services to children of all ages. Our team of 30 Therapists, range from SALT, OT, PT and Psychologist all focused on providing holistic, wrap around support for childrenand their families.

Our focal points for practice development have included Collaborative working with Psychologists and Specialist Social Workers for children with Attachment difficulties, expansion of our MDT feeding clinic and the exciting development of our Early Year’sassessment and treatment service. It is, therefore, a very exciting time to join our large, friendly and supportive team of staff who work with varied caseloads across clinic and school settings.

Our clinic is open six days a week with full-time front office support every day. A full-time Therapist role typically includes 40 hours over four long days per week, however, we are open to discussing more flexible working patterns, including part-timeand term time only contracts.

**The roles offered will include a variety of opportunities, including;**
- Working within a variety of settings including our specialist clinic, mainstream, and special schools.
- Collaborating with other professionals within the multidisciplinary team including speech and language therapists, physiotherapists, dietitians, psychologists, social workers and paediatricians.
- Administering a comprehensive selection of Assessments tools (both standardised and non-standardised assessment measures).
- Providing individual treatment and familial support/ intervention.
- Providing 1:1 and group therapy to children on the caseload.
- Writing thorough clinical reports.

**Essential Criteria**
- Experience, knowledge and a strong passion for working with children
- Demonstrable knowledge in child development
- Strong communication skills
- Current HCPC registration and an enhanced DBS certificate
- Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team

Desirable skills:

- Experience working with children who have Autism Spectrum Disorder, sensory processing difficulties, attachment difficulties.
- Experience working within the UK schooling system, including mainstream and special education settings.
- Experience contributing to Education Health and Care Plans.
- Experience working within a private practice.
