Join our expanding team as a Production Operative and become an integral part of our dynamic e-commerce environment.

**What you’ll do**
- Operate various machinery including digital printing machines, flatbed UV printers, printing finishing machines, laser cutting/engraving machines, and sign-making tools. Training provided.
- Assist in product development and setting up new items for production.
- Ensure top-notch performance and quality prints from the UV printing flatbed machine, digital printing machine, laser cutting and engraving machines.
- Assemble products crafted from diverse materials like wood, acrylic, paper, and ceramics with machinery and by hands.
- Handle deliveries and maintaining precise stock records.
- Maintain a clean, hazard-free workshop environment and offer support to other departments.
- Exhibit exceptional attention to detail, including precise sorting and counting of materials/orders.
- Conduct quality control checks to uphold our brand's high standards and customer experience ratings.
- Efficiently pack and ship customer orders within deadlines.
- Demonstrate organisational skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with high order volumes.

**Who you are**

While previous work in production or manufacturing is an advantage we prioritise a friendly team member with a can-do attitude.

Perhaps you’ve studied design and technology at college or have previously worked in a very hands-on, practical role. If you have experience of working with machinery that’s a plus but equally if you have a hobby making/creating and fancy a career change, we’d also like to hear from you.

Training will be provided to ensure you excel in the role but you’ll also need the following:

- Exceptional attention to detail is essential, along with the ability to maintain focus on tasks.
- Strong organizational skills and effective prioritisation are necessary.
- Proficiency in IT skills is required.
- Excellent English spelling and grammar are essential.
- Outstanding customer service skills are necessary.
- Experience in a fast-paced creative environment while maintaining composure under pressure is crucial.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask with keen attention to detail are necessary.
- Self-motivation and a can-do attitude are vital, along with problem-solving abilities and initiative.
- Passionate and enthusiastic about the work.
- A commitment to high-quality finishes is required. We’d like you to take pride in your work.
- Good timekeeping abilities and the capacity to meet deadlines under pressure are necessary.
- Proactive and quick to learn and master new systems and machinery
- Able to use your initiative and recommend process improvements.
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Availability for extended working hours is required, if necessary.

Beneficial Skills although not essential:

- Experience with Laser cutting, Foiling, and production printing is beneficial, but not essential.
- Experience with Rastalink or Fiery printing software is beneficial, although training will be provided.

**Working with us**

This role does need you to be on site. We love our rural location, with wildlife and walks on our doorstep but you’ll need to get here without relying on public transport. Free carparking though

Our labrador dog is on site most days as part of our friendly team. We have quarterly team get-togethers, from dinners to Escape rooms.
