CNC Milling Setter/ Operator

You will have responsibility for your work output while available to help with the setting of machines for operators.
- To communicate with Team Leaders or Supervisors of any issues relating to production, informing of parts not being to tolerance.
- Support the operators in machine set ups and operation.
- Work in the most effective ways, making machine adjustments, as and when required.
- Ensure on the job self-inspection.
- To comply with all reasonable requests made by the Management team.
- To assist in the training of trainees.
- Ensure all aspects of safety standards are always kept.
- Always ensure cleanliness and good housekeeping.
**Requirements**:
- Time served Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship.
- Experience of machining engineering Alloys, Steels and Plastics
- A good understanding of Heidenhain (required) and Fanuc (not essential) control systems
- Proven background of CNC Machining.
- A “can-do” attitude to ensure delivery of the highest output.
- Adhere to tight deadlines, multitask.
Hourly rate, dependent on experience.
As stated there is an option to finish at midday on Friday's by use of a mínimal Flexi option.
