We have an exciting opportunity for a Fitter/De-burrer to join our team at our Glenrothes facility and learn new skills and experience whilst enhancing those already attained. The role demands accuracy, diligence, resilience and would suit a self-motivated individual.

FTV Proclad International Limited is a worldwide market and technological leader in the protective weld cladding of pipeline components..

Due to current success in securing orders we are currently looking to recruit a Fitter/De-burrer to join our team at our Glenrothes facility. A market competitive wage will be offered depending on experience. Benefits of employment include 33 days holiday per year on a pro-rata basis (including public holidays), an employer pension contribution of 5% of salary and life assurance. Where shifts are required to be worked, a shift premium will be paid.
**Outline of Role and Responsibilities**
- De-burr rags from components.
- Using hand held grinders to shape and polish components.
- Hand polishing to achieve surface finishes of drawings.
- Polish fit to mating parts.
- Assist production personnel where required.
- Ad hoc duties as required.
- Keep work areas clear and organised.
- Interpret work orders and drawings to determine production specifications and information.
**Key Duties and Responsibilities**
- In addition to your normal duties, ensure all work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner as per company procedures.
- Ensure maximum productivity & adherence to Health & Safety procedures.
- Be proactive and work efficiently in daily tasks without the need for constant supervision.
**Flexibility**
- Must be willing to work shifts as and when to suit business needs.
- Be prepared to carry out any task as detailed by Charge Hand / shop Supervisors / Manager.
- Well organised and able to manage your time.
- Team player.
