Stately Strategic are working in partnership with a leading Manufacturing company in the north manchester area, they are looking for a HSE advisor to join their team and provide a positive contribution to the manufacturing site

The role is a dual role and involves TPM Scheduling and other related tasks
- Provide general HSE advice and respond to queries raised by staff as necessary.
- Ensure all health, safety and environmental management systems and policies are in place and up to date.
- Ensure annual workplace inspections and risk assessment reviews are carried out at all sites. Review sooner if there has been an incident or a change in working practice/legislation.
- Prepare, present and publish quarterly and annual reports for submission to the H&S Committee.
- Ensure thorough accident/incident investigations are carried out. Assist with incident reporting.
- Where there is a potential for a claim against the organisation, advise senior management and insurers of the claim potential. Liaise with insurers providing further information as requested.
- Report serious incidents to the HSE via RIDDOR in compliance with HSE guidelines.
- Administer and manage the Incident Reporting System, be the point of contact with the system supplier for any operational training, adjustments to the system etc.
- Monitor incidents logged where recommendations/actions have not been completed and closed by the line manager or appropriate person.
- Monitor and ensure actions completed that arise from risk assessments & workplace inspections
- Manage the review of company policies within the ownership of Facilities & Operations.
- Audit the legal compliance of the Facilities & Operations service across all properties.
- On a regular basis walk sites and proactively identify any H&S issues that may need addressing. As well as completing an audit on each site annually.
- Carry out new or reviewed fire risk assessments for all locations.
- Maintain a central risk assessment repository for all areas of the organisation.
- Deliver training on Fire, Incident Reporting, and Health, Safety & Wellbeing induction training to all new starters.
- Arrange and deliver specific training to senior staff around the risks they face in their work environment. Develop tool box talks to help with the dissemination of information.
- Attend other organisational meetings as requested with regards to matters of health and safety.
- Co-ordinate practice fire alarm activations in hours and out of normal hours. Feedback outcome producing a report and where recommendations are made, implement and update all parties.

**Facilities Responsibility**
- TPM Scheduling and recording
- Arranging for all certifications to be arranged/conducted/managed/recorded
- Liaising with management and arranging plant shut down for servicing and maintenance etc
- Managing the service records of all electrical and mechanical equipment onsite and also the maintenance scheduling of FLT

**Requirements**:

- HSE Qualification
- Experience working in a manufacturing/engineering environment
- Excellent track record in recording data and sharing with management
- A keen eye for detail
