**Job Title: Seamstress for Clothing Alteration.**

**Location: Wylde Green, Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham.**

**Job Type: [Flexible/Part-time/ Full-time].**

**Salary: Negotiable (Cash-in-Hand option).**

**Responsibilities**:
Clothing Alterations: Perform a wide range of clothing alterations, including but not limited to resizing, hemming, taking in or letting out seams, and adjusting sleeves and shoulders to ensure garments fit perfectly according to customer specifications.

Precision and Quality: Execute alterations with precision and meticulous attention to detail, maintaining the high standards of craftsmanship that our clients expect.

Customer Interaction: Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner to understand their alteration needs, provide recommendations, and ensure their complete satisfaction with the final results.

Time Management: Manage alteration tasks efficiently, meeting deadlines and ensuring quick turnaround times without compromising on quality.

Work with Various Fabrics: Demonstrate expertise in handling various types of fabrics, from delicate materials to heavy-duty têxtiles, and utilize appropriate sewing techniques accordingly.

Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the proper care and maintenance of sewing machines, overlockers and other tools to guarantee smooth operations and longevity of equipment.

Quality Assurance: Participate in quality control checks to verify the accuracy and perfection of each alteration before delivering the final product to the customer.

**Requirements**:
Proven Experience: Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in clothing alteration and garment construction, demonstrating proficiency in using industrial sewing machines, industrial overlockers and other relevant tools.

Expertise in Alterations: Show a comprehensive understanding of various alteration techniques, garment structure, and fabric properties.

Attention to Detail: Exhibit a meticulous eye for detail and the ability to achieve precise alterations that meet customer specifications.

Creativity: Showcase creativity in customisations and alterations to provide unique and personalised clothing solutions.

Time Management: Display efficient time management skills to handle multiple alteration projects and meet deadlines.

Flexibility: Be adaptable to varying workloads and altering techniques based on customer demands.

This role will be a long term/ongoing role with opportunities to go permanent.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Temp to perm, Zero hours contract
Part-time hours: 16-40 per week

**Salary**: £7.46-£13.18 per hour
