What are we looking for?
We are seeking a Practice and Review Coordinator to join the Partnerships small, hard-working business unit. The team provides a range of services to support the efficient running of the Safeguarding Partnership which is responsible for ensuring that the delivery of services to children, and adults with care and support needs in Walsall, are effective in keeping them safe. The Practice and Review Coordinator will play an integral part in ensuring that the Partnership can fulfil this duty.
About the job
This post will work with a range of multi-agency safeguarding professionals including Health, Police, Local Authority, and Education, as well as Independent Authors commissioned to undertake SARs and LCSPRs. Key tasks will include:
- Co-ordinating multi-agency audits and review panels.
- Monitoring progress of individual reviews and ensuring these are regularly reported to the partnership
- Supporting the development, implementation and monitoring of action plans associated with the above activity.
- Contributing to the multi-agency learning and development plan by preparing and delivering briefings and learning events in response to safeguarding reviews or multi agency audits (children and adults).
- Providing high quality administrative support to the Head of Safeguarding Partnership and Quality Assurance and Improvement Lead in matters relating to child practice reviews and safeguarding adult reviews.
- Maintaining regular contact with independent authors conducting the practice reviews.
