An opportunity for a Civil Engineering Technician has arisen for a consultancy in Gloucestershire.
You will be working with and assisting Associates and Directors of the team in the design of drainage, transport infrastructure and utilities provisions, surrounded by a support team
Main duties:

- Preparation of preliminary surface and foul water drainage designs and drawings.
- Preparation of sustainable drainage concepts and designs for projects.
- Production of the development of utility reports and liaison with third parties.
- Production of initial junction designs
- Assist with site inspections / reviews and analyse data.
- Preparation of reports such as flood risk assessments, transport statements and utility reports.
- Use of CAD and other computerised design systems.

Key skills:

- Experience in AutoCAD or similar software
- Working towards or holding a Civil Engineering qualification.
- Some experience in a similar role.
- Working knowledge of MicroDrainage, Civil 3D, or FLOW.
- Working knowledge of UK codes of Practices and Design Standards for highways and drainage.
