Start people is looking for passionate handyman on behalf of our ever growing client based in Bredbury.

**Duties**:

- Safe use of counterbalance Forklift Truck across all areas of the site.
- Daily removal of all production metal waste & all cardboard / plastic waste from the Production Building and reporting when collections are required.
- Regular removal of all aluminium sludge waste from Production Building
- Controlling wood waste / old pallets & reporting when scrap wood collection is required
- Keep areas inside (and immediately outside) of the Production Building Bay doors clear and always organised.
- Ensure rear yard and central yard areas are organised and tidy.
- Daily Turbex auto oil skimmer check / empty oil container and once a week manually skim excess oil
- Weekly coolant health/condition monitoring, checking concentration and PH level & adjust as required
- Carry out full coolant tank clean outs on all CNC and conventional machines as and when required
- Regularly check oil levels of CNC machines (e.g. spindle & gearbox) & re-fill if required.
- Ensure all oils/coolants are kept on bunded pallets, monitor stock levels & report in a timely manner when replenishment required
- Bi-monthly deep clean & slat change of RCW plasma machine
- Regularly check/empty drip trays as and when required - including quench oven, Turbex, fatigue tester
- Regularly check/clean all types of filters on CNC / conventional machines & quench oven.
- Assist the Senior Production Support Engineer & Production Support Engineers as and when required. for both Facilities & Production maintenance.
- Provide holiday/sickness cover for site cleaner.
- Driving company van for miscellaneous business needs.

**Must have**:

- Full UK driving licence
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- FLT accredited licence (could be out of date)

**Good to have**:

- Machine knowledge

**Hours & Pay**:
**Salary**: £11.44 per hour, increasing after 12 weeks
Hours: 07:30-16:30 (Monday to Thursday), 07:30-13:30 (Friday)
Schedule: Monday to Friday

Weekly pay (each Friday)

**Salary**: From £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
