MPLOY is looking to source two permanent & full time _Operations Assistants _to join our client’s team primarily based in Yeovil.

Why should you be interested? Our client is offering:

- A salary of £27,000 to £30,000 per year dependant on your experience.
- A fully paid workplace pension scheme where our client pays your 5% contribution generating a saving of £1,350 to £1,500 per year.
- 28 days holiday per year.
- A Monday to Friday working pattern with hours of work being 0830hrs to 1700hrs or 0900hrs to 1730hrs. You’ll be primarily based in Yeovil but expect to work in the field and in Bridport inline with client need.

You can expect to regularly, circa once a week, travel to client sites to spot inspect, test, remedy and report on mounting system installations. Overnight stays might be required and you can expect to work at our client’s head office in Bridport.

You’ll be able to spot when something isn’t installed correctly, efficiently make all parties aware and think of better long-term solutions that can be fed back into the design & manufacturing process.
- puts customers first. No request from customers will be too minor and you’ll go above and beyond to ensure a positive experience. You’ll develop and maintain great relationships with Installers to Project Managers with your brilliant ‘soft’/interpersonal skills.
- wants to aid the development of cutting-edge products. In post, having been trained, you can expect to test competitor solar mounting systems and test internal designs to help our client stay ahead in the market. A researcher/product tester mentality is highly desirable.
- is IT literate and system savvy. Strong Microsoft Office skills are a must for the post holder as you can expect to use Word, Excel and Outlook regularly to generate various reports for clients and to assist the Operations Manager as needed.
- might have some construction/trade/foreman/supervisor experience. Inspecting work, getting 'hands on' with remedials and operating to a high standard will be within your wheelhouse.
- is flexible. Outside of report writing you might be needed to help in our client’s factory machine operating or helping with work orders/assembly works. Not to worry full training will be provided but a production background could be helpful here.
