Assistant Psychologist

We are looking for highly motivated Assistant Psychologist to join our expanding Autism Diagnostic & Liaison team. This new role will help support individual before, during and post diagnostic.

The MDT is clinically led by a Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist/Clinical Lead who supports operational, strategic and clinical delivery of the pathway, along with our Service manager and Team Co-ordinator. We work as an MDT to provide high quality, NICE compliant autism assessments and provide short-term post diagnostic support.

All work will be fully supervised and supported by HCPC Registered Psychologists. The successful applicant will participate fully in internal training, reflective practice groups and ongoing audit/ research.

Within the wider Autism, Learning Disability, and Transforming Care teams, there are eight qualified psychologists and a further five assistants, working across the county. We are closely involved with the Trent Clinical Psychology Training course and the Sheffield and Leicester training courses also request inputs from time to time.
