My client is an established manufacturer of bespoke electro - hydraulic products. Due to their 40 years within the fluid power sector, they are able to provide first class products based on clients’ niche needs. Due to continued growth they are now lookingfor experienced Hydraulic Design Engineers to join their team. Designing 2d & 3d drawings of power packs, hydraulic cylinders and control manifolds using AutoCAD and Inventor drawing systems. Knowledge of fluid power circuits and components is essential. Thisis an interesting and varied role.

**Control Systems Design Engineer**

**Heckmondwike**

**Salary - £40,000 - £50,000 (DOE) - Company pension, sick pay, healthcare scheme & 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays.**

**Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to**:

- Produce technical documentation in line with bespoke requirements.
- Raise purchase orders from approved suppliers.
- Ensure electrical equipment is integrated in the overall design of Hydraulic Systems.
- Produce Electrical Schematic drawings using AutoCAD electrical drawing.
- Generate electrical Cable Block Diagrams.
- Verify control system designs & documentation by colleagues.
- Oversee the electrical installation works for products built and tested on site.
- Carry out control system testing, commissioning and FAT on site and at clients’ sites.
- Produce control panel General Arrangement drawings via AutoCAD electrical drawings.
- Cable sizing, control panel and electrical power load calculations.
- Experience using Siemens Tia Portal programming is essential.
- A background within engineering.
- A degree within engineering (mechanical / hydraulics) is advantageous.
- An understanding of hydraulics including Systems.
- 17th edition electrical wiring regulations.
- Experience in the hardware of electrical control systems design.
- Good understanding of HSE.
- Be able to generate electrical and GA drawings using AutoCAD electrical.
- Knowledge of hydraulic control systems.
- Understanding of leading suppliers -Siemens, Rockwell.
- Good attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Fluid Power circuits, components and calculations.
- Strong communication skills - written and verbal.
