**Due to continued success and future business growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Administrator to join our team based at our head office in Sunderland, North East.**

Joining our team as Technical Administrator you will be working alongside our Group Technical team providing administration support in relation to our building safety projects.

**What is building safety?**

As a housebuilder we are obliged to investigate and if required, remediate any fire-safety defects arising from the design and construction of buildings 11 meters and over in height.

As our Technical Administrator, you will be responsible for liaising with external agents such as design team member, fire engineers, works Contractors and external management companies.

**Key duties and requirements**

You will also be responsible for but not limited to;
- Preparing key status reports and updates on all KPIs relating to the building safety function.
- Maintaining a comprehensive database of all relevant legislation and procedures in order to ensure best practice is achieved.
- Daily liaison with third party agencies, internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintaining departmental records and filing, archiving and data retrieval systems ensuring that information is stored and filed as per the Avant Homes data protection policy.
- Liaising with both internal and external parties in order to resolve building safety challenges.
- Co-ordination of project meetings.
- General office administration duties as required.
