**BMG Research** are now hiring for an **Associate Director (Qualitative) **to help grow our qualitative capacity and expertise.

This is a full time permanent role that can be based from one of our BMG/RSK London offices or Birmingham office and Hybrid.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead on qualitative projects, teams and client relationships across a wide range of topics.
- Oversee methodology and developing the research teams qualitative skills, building networks with partners and developing our offer.
- Client interaction and project management and will involve line management of a team.
- Business development - leading response to opportunities, writing compelling proposals and supporting members of the team with proposal writing
- To be an in our client’s worlds - understanding their sector or area of operation, their issues and bringing them solutions. They must also inspire those around them - guiding the development of others and driving company-wide improvement and growth

**Person Specification**:

- Expertise in all aspects of project management in a social research context.
- Excellent bid/proposal writing capabilities, including competitive pitching.
- Proven ability to build trusted advisor relationships across multiple clients and stakeholders.
- Able to accurately cost bids, and budget, forecast and deliver project revenue.
- Able to write insightful qualitative research reports (and other outputs) that offer a coherent and compelling narrative, as well as quality assuring qualitative outputs written by other team members
- Cultivates a learning culture in the team, proactively supporting and developing team members to bring their best.
- Plays a lead role in resourcing, including defining structure and profile of the team
