**Position Overview**:
As a Buyer, you will play a critical role in our procurement process, ensuring the acquisition of goods at optimal prices and schedules. Your responsibilities will span from negotiating contracts, evaluating supplier performance, to maintaining precise purchase records. This position involves a focus on international trade, managing both import and export operations, and ensuring customs compliance. With significant opportunities for growth and promotion, this role is ideal for someone looking to advance their career.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with company goals.
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for quality, price, and delivery.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure favourable terms.
- Stay updated on market trends and industry changes.
- Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers.
- Manage the purchase order process and resolve discrepancies.
- Accurately record purchases and communicate with internal stakeholders.
- Develop and implement import/export strategies.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations.
- Manage logistics for import/export, coordinating with external partners.
- Work with internal teams to manage inventory and ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor international markets for new opportunities and potential risks.
- Collaborate with the creative team on new product concepts.
- Oversee content development for new products.
- Manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

**Qualifications**:

- 2+ years in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation skills and supplier relationship management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Data analysis and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Independent work ethic and task prioritization in a fast-paced environment.

**Additional Responsibility**:

- On a rotational basis of 1 week every 3 to 4 weeks, you will travel to Blackpool to act as the operational lead. In this capacity, you will oversee operations in collaboration with the Warehouse Manager, ensuring smooth functioning and adherence to company standards.

**Salary**: £35,000-£40,000

**Hours**: 0800-1800, Monday to Friday, 47.5 hours per week with a 30-minute lunch break
