Cutter & Sewer

A fantastic opportunity is available for an experienced Cutter / Sewer to join a friendly team in our furnishing arm of the group Revivalist. We are award winning design and build specialists who offer our clients a bespoke upholstery and soft furnishings service. This can include chairs, stools, fixed seating, cushions and much more all made to the customers specification and to the highest standard.

**Duties & responsibilities**
- Working with many types of materials including fabric and leather
- Cutting materials ready for upholstery
- Sew cut fabrics to the required design
- Using a range of trimmings and finishings
- Cut foams to templates
- Ensuring workshop is kept clean and tidy at all times
- Work efficiently to minimise wastage
- General workshop duties as required

**Required skills and experience**
- Excellent time keeping
- Must be accurate and have good attention to detail
- Able to work in metric or inches
- Can work on a heavy-duty walking foot upholstery machine
- Able to work in a fast-paced role and able to work to manufacturing deadlines.
- Comfortable working alone or as part of a team
