**The Role**

As a Geophysicist you will be responsible for supporting offshore geophysical data acquisition and perform quality control, processing, interpretation and reporting of geophysical data. This role has an exciting variety of project types working with various data from Renewable, Oil & Gas and Government sectors.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist in Field Reports and offshore reporting including Calibrations, Installation, Preliminary Interpretation and Reporting.
- Liaise with the Survey Operations Manager, Survey Technical Manager, Project Manager, CAD/GIS Coordinator, Workshop Personnel and Survey team to assist in preparing geophysical equipment.
- Pre‐project preparation, including but not limited to: existing datasets, client supplied info, infrastructure diagrams, scope of work, deliverables.
- Liaise with Environmental Scientists and Geotechnical Engineers to ensure the correct locations are chosen for sampling.
- Online operation of survey systems and data QC, providing documentation and communication including shift hand-over, field reporting and daily project reporting.
- Ability to work independently, or as part of a team, to process, interpret and report from acquisition to final product.
- Liaise with the Client during the reporting phase to ensure expectations are bring met, action client comments from the preliminary report review.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor of Science Degree, specifically Geology or Geophysics or equivalent.

**Essential Experience**
- 2+ years offshore field experience.
- Strong knowledge and experience of marine geophysical survey techniques - acquisition, processing and reporting.
- Ability to undertake QC of data or reports.
- Experience of Seismics (UHR & HR), UXO Survey (Gradiometer) and processing software
