**Freelance Part Time Sample Machinist**

We are looking for a Freelance Sample Machinist to join our lovely small friendly team in Central London producing high end luxury womenswear.

The Role Requires the following:

- To be able to produce first samples at a high level with high finishing techniques and skills.
- Ability to work within a small team. Working closely with the Main Pattern Cutter and the Designer and Head of Product and Design Development.
- Advising the main pattern cutter of any problems regarding the sample and also any potential problems for production of the garment.
- An Understanding of how to work with a variety of different luxury fabrics anything from delicate silks to wools.
- Interpreting from a tech pack pattern and sketch.
- Confident in pressing and hand finishing garments.
- To have a strong technical skill set and an understanding of pattern and garment construction for ladieswear.
- Good spoken English is required.
- To be a team player.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Freelance
