Dog Day Care Assistant

Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Pet Sitter to join our team. As a Pet Sitter, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and attention to pets while their owners are away. This is a great opportunity for individuals who have a passion for animals and enjoy working in a flexible and rewarding environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain a clean and safe environment for pets at all times
- Monitor pets for any signs of distress or illness and report any concerns to the owner or veterinarian
- Follow specific instructions provided by pet owners regarding feeding schedules, dietary restrictions, and any other special requirements
- Provide companionship and engage in interactive play with pets to promote their well-being
- Communicate with pet owners on a regular basis to provide updates on their pets' activities and behavior

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in veterinary, day care, walking or animal care is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with pet owners
- Ability to handle and restrain animals safely, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Excellent observation skills to identify any changes in pets' behavior or health
- Transportation to travel to clients' homes as needed
- Flexibility to work

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £7.49-£10.42 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
