**Online Merchandiser & E-Commerce Sales Assistant**

About the Role

Creating and executing compelling, relevant and engaging content across all platforms and improving our presence on social media to attract new audiences. Listening and responding to relevant comments, chatter and noise and providing timely and accurate feedback to drive our brand awareness and sales.
- Writing descriptions for products, Consisting of concise bullet points for each product, care instructions, special features, measurements where relevant
- Categorising each item into department and tag group on the website
- Monitoring the front end of the website to ensure products are presented well and no issues have occurred.
- Assisting in sourcing, listing, managing and developing product ranges and promotional offers.
- Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews, providing necessary updates and escalations.
- Writing and creating eye-catching social media posts to drive traffic to the ecommerce website
- Writing Blogs and collaborating with external agency on their written content.
- Build key relationships with influencers and press contacts
- Use new and emerging technologies such as generative AI to maximise the efficiency of all written content the Marketing team creates

**Requirements**:

- 2+ years proven experience in a content marketing role (preferably B2C)
- A creative and engaging writing style
- In-depth knowledge of SEO, meta data and keyword research
- Blog writing experience
- A very strong grasp of grammar and spelling
- Proven ability to work effectively under pressure whilst maintaining high standards
- Excellent time management
- Proactive and positive approach to problem solving

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £21,000.00-£24,500.00 per year
