**The Role**

We are looking for a Technical Assistant to join our **friendly Liquid Waste Resources Team** in Trowbridge, one of our 11 centres in the Southwest, providing **accessible and environmentally** **friendly treatment** of various non-hazardous liquids to our valued customers.

A typical day as a Technical Assistant will involve providing our customers with exceptional service. You will carry out daily activities including **liaising with the drivers, testing samples, checking and completing paperwork and accurately recording information **on our computer system.

You will be required to take a proactive approach to Health and Safety and be a **champion of safe practices and policies.**

You will also be responsible for completing **routine audits** and inspections and ensuring that onsite equipment such as our discharge bays, and plant remains **clean, effective, **and **operational**.

Predominantly two days per week,** ideally Wednesday - Thursday **between the hours of **08:00 -16:00 **but some flexibility in the working days maybe possible. We may also ask you to cover extra days on an ad-hoc basis.

**About You**

We would love to hear from you if you have an interest in the wastewater industry and especially if you have practical experience.

We are looking for someone with a **positive can-do** **attitude **and the ability to engage in a **professional and friendly** manner with others.

It would be advantageous if you have a good understanding of wastewater treatment processes and legislation.

You will also need to have a **driving licence** and **computer skills.**
