Fishmonger

This is an amazing opportunity to join the Conscious Food team. We are looking for a confident person with good communication skills and a positive attitude. Experience in the fish / food industry is desired.

The Conscious Food Co is a well established wholesaler and has recently opened the Conscious Fish Shop in Nailsea to provide top quality sustainable fish to the local area. We focus on buying local, seasonal, and sustainably-sourced fish, buying directly from the boats that catch the fish, so customers can enjoy the best fish at home. Our shop team are customer focused, enthusiastic and provide a memorable experience for all customers.

Responsibilities include:

- Serving customers in the front of the shop and providing an excellent shopping experience to customers.
- Cleaning and filleting fish.
- Storing fish correctly and cleaning down the shop at the end of the day.
- Preparing our homemade products such as fishcakes, mackerel pate and rolled monkfish joints.
- Daily stock takes, and helping with ordering.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
