**£11.86 per hour**

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a well established food processing company. This is a newly created role within the business.

We are looking for a **Covid-19 Marshall**who will ensure that all staff and visitors entering the facility are following the correct procedure.

This role reports directly into the Head of Health & Safety and is on an ongoing temporary basis.

**As a** **Covid-19 Marshall, your d**uties will include**:

- Taking the temperature of staff members entering the site, using a forehead thermometer
- Questioning and reassuring staff members who display a raised or actual temperature
- Making contact with Managers/Supervisors to discuss individual cases when needed
- Relaying outcome decisions to individuals, which could include being sent home
- Sanitising and cleaning all high touch areas
- Observing staff to ensure social distancing rules are being adhered to; where this is not possible ensure that contact is kept to a minimum and the relevant PPE is worn
- Monitor contractors and visiting drivers, ensuring compliance with rules whilst on-site
- Monitor the number of staff in the canteen and shared communal areas during break periods
- Monitor flow of traffic ensuring the one way system is being adhered to
- Advise staff of any non conformance and inform them of what they must do to work safely, complying with the control measures
- Report any non conformance to Line Manager
- Carrying out return to work interview with staff who are returning from an absence or holiday;

Please be aware that you will be based in a food production/processing site.

**Full training & required PPE will be provided.**
