**What is the role?**

Sheffield and Rotherham Council’s have been jointly directed to deliver a Clean Air Plan to address Nitrogen Dioxide emissions from road transport locally.

A Clean Air Zone will be required in Sheffield as part of meeting air quality targets, and to create a cleaner and healthier future for residents across the city.

Sheffield Council are now looking to appoint an experienced Communications professional to provide a high-quality communications programme for this campaign.

**How will you do this?**
- Support campaign planning and delivery, press and public relations support, advertising, and corporate internal and change communications.
- Research and write engaging copy across a variety of channels including websites, social media, exhibitions, and news media.
- Manage and evaluate marketing campaigns and activities from conception to completion.
- Work with the media team to gain positive coverage from media releases, photo opportunities, features and media briefs.
