We have an exciting opportunity to join our Admin team as our Admin Services Lead at our Practice Plus Group Hospital, Emersons Green, Bristol
- The shifts for this role are Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm

**Purpose of Role**

To support the Administration Manager with the supervision and leadership of the Funding Coordinator, Medical Records and Discharge Co-ordinator teams and to work within these teams in accordance with the protocols for each area ensuring each teams KPI’s are achieved.

To provide a professional and patient focused administration role, supporting the clinical team within the treatment centre, and providing a point of contact for patients, consultants and GP’s and supervising all roles related to the processes to ensure smooth running of the teams

You will support admin teams on a day to day basis, deal with queries, liaising with all departments and investigating any unusual patient records, ensuring the Administration Manager is aware of any issues.

You will also monitor the status of discharges and prioritise with the team to ensure KPIs for discharge letters and reports are met and assist with providing the relevant information needed for audit and commissioning to support decision making by clinicians, management and the finance department.to manage an accurate filing system for patient notes.

**About You**:
We are looking for someone with the ability to exercise judgement when dealing with patient enquiries /problems. As well as being experienced in providing information and advice to patients/relatives.

**You will be an experienced Team Leader with**
- At least 2 years previous managerial/ team leader administration experience in a health care setting
- Strong administration and organisation skills
- Experience of people and performance management Sound knowledge and understanding of Microsoft software packages
- Excellent Communication skills
- The ability to prioritise your own day to day workload.
