**Description**

The Garment Technologist will be responsible for developing collaborative products within established in-house brands from concept to final production. You will be able to create supporting artwork which illustrates design concepts that tells a story to the consumer. Designs will vary from equestrian clothing to equestrian products that all translate the vision of our in-house brands. Within the role you will carry out a range of technical, investigative, and quality control work to ensure the end-product performs to specification.

**Responsibilities;**
- Measuring fit samples, pre-production samples and production samples
- Produce clear and detailed technical specifications.
- Ensure quality and measurements are as per approval.
- Conduct fit sessions for own product area(s) in-house
- Sample development control
- Ability to work under pressure and to key deadlines.
- Keeping detailed notes and records on all aspects of production and sample process
- Other duties as required.
- Have a degree in fashion, product or industrial design (or similar field)
- Advanced level Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
- Trend aware, highly creative and able to identify and create innovative designs
- Strong communication, organisational and presentation skills
- Passionate and driven individual
- Understanding of material development processes and construction
- Understand design from a technical perspective such as producing patterns and technical specifications for designs
- Confident and personable
- Strong team player with an ability to work independently
- An understanding of pattern cutting /grading is desirable.
- Understanding of garment construction
- Equestrian knowledge an advantage but not a requirement

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £22,000.00 per year
