**Purpose of job**: To support the Site Managers in providing a first-class service and in creating a safe, relaxed & enjoyable holiday environment for all our visitors by ensuring the smooth running of the site at all times.

**Key Tasks/Accountabilities**:
Responsible for all grounds work, including but not limited to; grass cutting (ride on mower and hand mowing), hedge cutting, strimming, pruning, watering;
Adhere to health and safety procedures and reporting any potential risks and hazards to your Site Managers;
Conduct bin runs on occasion when instructed to by your Site Managers;
Inspect and clear if necessary all drains, culverts and watercourses on the site;
Sweep and collect leaves, branches and twigs off pitches and site paths and site roads using site equipment (if provided);
Maintain site pathways and dog walks;
Renovate site pitches as instructed to do by your Site Manager;
Internal/external painting as agreed with your Site Manager;
Cultivate shrub/flower beds;
To ensure all supplied equipment and tools are maintained, used and stored as required and in line with training received. Defective equipment to be identified to The Site Manager or Regional Manager for repair or replacement;
To ensure that prior to any routine maintenance an appropriate risk assessment is conducted and agreed control measures are in place;
To ensure all PPE provided is used, maintained and stored as per training. Ensure any deficiencies and or defects are reported to the Site Manager or Regional Manager in a timely manner;
Provide levels of customer service in accordance with The Club's standards (as instructed by your Site Manager/Regional Manager) to meet visitors' expectations;
Assist your Site Managers to ensure all records of inspection, maintenance, assessment and the like are maintained and available for inspection as required;
Any other duties (not listed here) as agreed with the site Site Manager and or site Assistants.

**Essential Skills & Experience Required**:

- Previous experience in a groundsperson/landscaping role is required;
- Previous experience in the leisure industry would be an advantage, but not essential;
- Ability to participate as a full team player and contribute effectively;
- Attention to detail and high standards of work;
- Ability to work on your own and to meet challenging deadlines;
- Ability to communicate effectively and report any issues or concerns to your line manager;
- Flexibility regarding hours is vital. The rota will require some weekend working and days of work may need to flex (with notice) depending on bookings;
- Working knowledge of operating garden/grounds work equipment;
- Knowledge of garden/grounds maintenance techniques and methods;
- Working with 3rd party suppliers when required;
- Excellent customer service skills;
- UK full, clean driving licence.

**Training**:

- Machinery Training (appropriate to the site requirements)
- PA1 & PA6 (if required)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Contract
Contract length: 5 months

Pay: £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 42 per week
