Kitchen Porter

We are currently recruiting a kitchen porter/assistant to help with the general upkeep of the kitchen and associated areas. Job responsibilities:

- Cleaning and sterilising countertops, kitchen walls, stoves, ovens, grills and sinks
- Cleaning the entire kitchen while closed to ensure it meets hygiene standards.
- Maintaining the food storage areas like freezers and refrigerators
- Receiving deliveries and organising them in the kitchen
- Washing dirty dishes like cutlery, pots, cutting boards and pans or loading dishes into the dishwasher
- Removing kitchen waste from waste bins and disposing of them properly
- Cleaning and maintaining cooking equipment like cookers, pots and food mixers
- Providing assistance to Prep Cooks and other kitchen staff, as needed

Shifts will be across 5 working days including a mixture of midweek and weekend days. Shift hours will be a mixture of 9:00am - 5:00pm and 12:00pm - 9:00pm (approx)

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.90 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
