Microbiology technician

This is a rolling contract with high potential go permanent after 4 months.

Kenton Black is a recruitment partner to a water testing laboratory based in Belfast.

**Responsibilities**:

- Preparation of samples water samples for microbial analysis
- Processing of samples
- Reading and confirmation of samples in line with company protocols
- General maintenance of the laboratory
- Work according ISO17025 guidelines
Hours of Work:
During training the normal hours will be 0900-1700 Monday - Friday. Once trained in post staff will be required to work as part of a shift pattern, this will usually be a 5-day shift rotation. The shift pattern will cover Monday - Sunday 0800 - 1600 or 0900- 1700 or 1000 - 1800 with a minimum of two days off per week unless overtime is required.

**Qualifications**:
Experience working within a fast-paced environments.
Excellent communication and written skills
