**Job Title**: Counterbalance Forklift Driver & Yard Worker
**Location**: Exeter, UK
**Hours**: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 5:00 pm
**Hourly Rate**: £12.50

**Job Type**: Temporary to Permanent (12-week minimum)

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently to transport materials within the recycling company's yard.
- Assist with yard work tasks as needed, including sorting, stacking, and organizing recyclable materials.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the yard area to facilitate smooth operations.
- Adhere to company policies and regulations regarding waste disposal and recycling practices.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or incidents to the supervisor promptly.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.

**Requirements**:

- Valid counterbalance forklift license and demonstrated experience operating the equipment.
- Must have own transport to get to the yard.
- Physical work, lifting up to 25kg, sweeping and general maintenance.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Willingness to comply with safety regulations and wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including safety boots and hi-vis clothing.
