Resilience Risk Advisor

**Resilience Risk Advisor (inside IR35)**

**Contract Term: Until March 2024**

**Contracting Authority: MOD**

**Location: Hybrid Andover - 3 days on site, 2 days can be from home. May require some travel to other sites and London**

Resilience is a strategic objective intended to help an organisation survive and maintain the delivery of its capability, outputs, activities and objectives. This is achieved by improving the ability of risk holders and capability owners to anticipate, prepare for, respond and adapt to adverse events.

**As a Resilience Risk Advisor your main responsibilities would be**
- Act as TLB Focal Point for Resilience Policy (both physical and cyber) from Defence, articulating that so that it can be implemented across the Army,
- Providing assurance to the Army SIRO, where necessary supporting the inclusion of known risks on the Army Security & Resilience Risk Register. LL
- Looking across and down the Army Chain of Command, acting as an enquiry point for advising units and formations, while also engaging with Defence.
- Possess good judgement and communication skills, the ability to understand and interpret policy, and the ability to work and make decisions autonomously

**You’ll have relevant experience in**
- Active SC Clearance essential sole British national able to go through DV clearance
- Ability to communicate at all levels of stakeholders internal and external
- Ability to absorb and deal with large amount of information - working at pace
- Experience managing a service
- Good CIS skills
- Good time management
- Worked within resilience role
- Worked within multisite role
- Security controller may be suitable
- Someone who may have worked within government, for resilience and contingency
- Certification of the Business Continuity Institute - Business Continuity and Resilience qualification.
- Defence Establishment Security Officer Course.

**Desirables**
- MOD experience would be an advantage
- All arms Crypto Custodian
- STRAPSO course
- APMQ (project management)
