Or do you have an understanding of School Level Agreements (SLA) and the daily management and financial support of SLA systems?

We have two School ICT Officer posts which offers the opportunity to join a team that are responsible for the efficient and cost-effective delivery of IT customer services across Schools.

Both posts are based at County Hall, Beverley, however will be predominantly home/agile working offering 1st line IT remote support via remote access facilities, telephone and may also include visits to school settings.

One of the posts is aimed at a more technical role, offering desktop and IT customer service both remotely and occasional via on-site visits within a schools settings to provide ICT support and cover. Training will be provided to ensure we continue offering a high quality service to schools in the East Riding and surrounding areas.

The second post is again predominantly home/agile working providing IT telephone support, call logging and assigning. The role also includes the SLA daily support and financial administrative support of the Councils preferred SLA management system.

You must hold a minimum of 4 GCSEs (grade 4 or equivalent) including English, Maths, Science or Technology, and a relevant level 2 apprenticeship or relevant qualification /experience in ICT. You must hold a full driving license and have access to a car.

The technical role, you will have appropriate experience and qualification for a technical level of supporting ICT services in a large organisation and school setting and possess knowledge of the following: School Management Systems (SIMS / ScholarPack), ICT Curriculum and Admin support in schools, Service Desk duties, WAN/LAN Technologies, Server knowledge, Active Directory and Group Policy.

For the Desktop support and SLA Daily support and Financial support, appropriate experience and knowledge of working with school settings or in a large organisation with SLA/Contract and finance support experience. Possessing knowledge and experience of School management systems, as well as have an insight in to School settings would be advantageous.

It is important to possess good communication skills.
