To complete our dedicated care team in our Innis Mhor Care Home in Tain, we are recruiting a Night Care Assistant for permanent, relief cover. on

At Parklands we employ staff on the strength of their commitment to providing high quality, person centred care and their willingness to learn and work in a fast paced and challenging environment. You will work closely with our residents so it's essential that you have a warm, caring and, above all, patient personality. In return we offer the opportunity to work flexibly, with rates of pay which are higher than you would find in similar roles in the care sector. We offer Wagestream - a money management app that gives you power over your pay.

These post will involve evening and weekend work, based on working on an 'as and when' basis to cover for sickness and holidays

Your key responsibilities will be:

- Providing the highest level of person centred care and support to our residents
- Assisting with meals
- Engaging in day to day activities and providing companionship
- Providing support to family members
- Working closely with other team members and the management team

About you
- You must have the right to live and work in the UK
- You will have sound knowledge of English and be computer literature
- You will be expected to provide referee contact details for your current place of work and your previous place of work
- You will be expected to have a full PVG upon acceptance of post and to register with the SSSC within 6 months of starting the post.

Desired experience and qualifications
- It would be beneficial to have previous care experience - although we believe your attitude to high quality care is more important
- SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or working towards SVQ level 2
- Knowledge of Health & Social Care standards
