**THE JOB**
To operate LGV vehicles for the delivery and collection of animal feed products safely, effectively and efficiently within the law to meet the needs of customer orders and production.
- To deliver feed to receive revenue to allow the fleet profitability to be achieved.
- To deliver outstanding service to the customers, the driver is the customer facing image of the business.
- To ensure the vehicle is driven to meet the needs of the company’s Operator’s Licence, keeping the business legally compliant.
- To work in a safe manner not putting the health and safety of others and themselves in danger.
- Working in a flexible manner to allow the fleet to run efficiently.
- Drive in such a way to meet the companies fuel efficiency standards.
- To be proactive in raising concerns regarding quality / service / environmental and safety issues.
- To work within the feed safety guidelines.
- Adhere to Company and Group policies and procedures, including but not limited to those relating to Safety, Health and Environmental.
- To ensure all relevant legislation and approved codes of practice, are adhered to in respect of ongoing compliance, including but not limited to UFAS, FIAS, & NOPS assurance schemes.
**SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALITIES REQUIRED**
- LGV Licence C+E (Essential)
- Driver CPC (Essential)
- Previous experience of blowing (training will be provided) (Desirable)
- Flexible approach to work. (Essential)
- Preferable
- Experience of Animal feed / Agriculture. (Desirable)
- Good communicator. (Essential)
- Ability to work independently using their own initiative. (Essential)
