Accounts Assistant required for an on going temporary opportunity based in West Bromwich, Birmingham. The role can offer an immediate start with long term prospects.
Key responsibilities:

- Posting of receipts from banks statements onto Sage 200 which is the company Finance system.
- The recording and monitoring of income received using Excel spreadsheets.
- Posting of bank payments from the bank statement to the finance system
- Generating invoices for self-funder service users and local authorities for care packages provided.
- Identifying discrepancies between care package income due and income received and raising queries accordingly.
- Issuing petty cash upon receipt of the appropriate documentation, entering this in the petty cash book and reconciliation of the petty balance.
- Manage the client database.
- Set up bank payments, for authorisation on Barclays iPortal.
Key Requirements
- Min 1 year Accounts experience - within a similiar role
- Immediately available
- Can easily commute to Smethwick
